A green wall, also known as a vertical garden or living wall, is a creative and space-efficient gardening technique that involves growing plants on a vertical wall. It typically consists of a framework or support system attached to a wall or freestanding structure. This framework includes planters, modules, or pockets that hold the growing media and plants in place.
There are different types of installations for green walls:

Green walls are ideal for urban environments and small spaces where traditional gardening isn’t feasible. Select a location based on sunlight, space, and accessibility. Ideal spots include dead walls, balconies, and fences.
Vertical Gardens offer endless design possibilities. You can experiment with different plant combinations, arrangements, and colors to create unique and eye–catching displays. Vertical gardens can also incorporate artistic elements like sculptures or decorative features.
Planting Media is a crucial element for growing plants in green wall. It provides support and nutrients for plants, and allows proper water drainage. Potting mix should be taken in proper proportion that includes soil, cocopeat, vermiculite, perlite and organic manure (vermicompost).
Proper irrigation is essential for vertical gardens. Drip irrigation or recirculating water systems efficiently deliver water and nutrients to plants.
Maintenance depends on plant type and irrigation system complexity. Some setups are low-maintenance with hardy plants, while others require more attention. Regular watering, occasional pruning, and the use of water-soluble fertilizers will keep your green wall healthy and vibrant.
